289 Davidson-Lancaster House

Many of the early English settlers in Hudson arrived from Cumberland in the 1820s. Some of those families - Davidson, Hodgson, Lancaster, Parsons, Vipond - have descendants who still live here. Over 200 years old, this house has been home for generations of two of those families. It has also served as butcher shop, baker shop and tailor shop.
