The Royal Theatre was owned and operated by Nancy Rozon (1941 to 1967) and AndrÈ Beauchamp (1967 to 1977). Movie-goers would eat next door at Ben's not only before and after a performance but during the intermissions. It has since served the community as a repair shop, vegetable market, a sports store, a video store, and now as a pool and bike store owned by Jacques Chevrier.
